  1. Food companies and FMCG should maintain trust and transparency with consumers and other stakeholders involved with reference to the longer and increased self-life of the product while keeping the quality intact. This can be done with value added advertising and product sampling.
  2. Food companies and FMCG should maintain food ingredient quality and safety by focusing on the approach of avoiding microbial contamination of fruits, vegetables and meats.
